Dr. Taub uses many different modalities to try to reduce chronic ankle and lower leg pain. He uses traditional and complementary techniques in his search to relieve foot and ankle pain.

He has been providing effective wound care for over 24 years utilizing numerous different wound products including laboratory produced skin grafts that can be implanted in the office for non-responsive wounds. - Geriatric Foot Care
Geriatric patients make up a healthy contingent of our patients. As with all patients, our office emphasizes conservative non-surgical care. With older patients we try to utilize the most singly care while attempting to resolve their problems as quickly as possible and keep them on their feet.
- Sports Injuries
Dr. Taub, being a runner, former triathlete and weekend recreational athlete, understands the needs of athletes of all abilities. It is his goal to offer innovative treatment to either keep the athlete at their sport or get them back to their sport as soon as possible.
Neuromas is a benign swelling of a nerve usually between the third and fourth toe called Morton’s Neuroma. Our office offers three different types of injections to try to resolve this problem non surgically. Surgery is used only as a last resort.
Metatarsalgia means pain in the ball of the foot. This condition can be relieved by trimming painful calluses, specialized tapings and biomechanical custom orthotics and oral anti-inflammatory medication.
- Corns & Calluses

- Arthritic Foot Pain
This painful condition can be relieved with injection therapy, custom orthotics, or oral anti-inflammatory and surgical intervention is used only as a last resort.
- Infection of the Foot & Ankle
Dr. Taub is well versed in using all different types of antibiotics to resolve foot and ankle infections. In addition, Dr. Taub is a Diplomate in wound care. He has over 24 years of treating this potentially serious problem effectively.
Gout is a very painful condition. The most common site is the big toe joint, but can affect any joint of the body. This condition can be effectively be treated by injection therapy and/or oral medications such as anti-inflammatories.
- Laser Treatment for Toenail Fungus
The laser is a treatment for nail fungus and is a safe in-office procedure which can restore the normal appearance of your nails. The laser is non-invasive with little to no pain during treatment. The patient can resume normal activity immediately after treatment.
- Bunions & Hammertoes
Bunions and hammertoes can be tried both conservatively and surgically. It all depends what Dr. Taub and the patient wants to accomplish
- Flat Feet
Painful flat feet can effectively be treated with biomechanical custom orthotics and appropriate shoes.
Warts are a viral condition that can be treated with either topical wart medication or surgical excision. The decision of what treatment to perform is done by the patient after the patient is educated about both options.
